Falling from the sky
With the grace of wind
A smile cannot pretend
Words like “love” and “friend”
An echo from the past
Haunting the streets of his childhood
Walking through dreams
From once upon a time
A beautiful pattern
Dancing in light and shadow
The interplay of complexity
Simplified by mind
Compassion warming the heart
From a cold blank space
Memories of love
Filling the void
Like water in a chalice
Releasing all malice
Forgiveness from fragile beings
Holding together, exterior strength
Like a healer purifying the land
He touches time with his hand
One cannot hold the intangible
Or grasp the meaning of infinity
Through complex processes
This poison must be dissolved
The clarity of water
Flowing through a peaceful stream
Symbolic sacrifices
Invoking the spirit of nature
Dynamic dimensions of time
Acting on perceptions internal
Knowledge of our ancestors
Guided by the eternal dreamer
Encoded information
Hidden within the mundane
In the flatness of a prairie
Where heaven touches the plains
One cannot lose contact with “human”
The essential self buried in distraction
Alchemical matter
A construct of the mind
Piercing the veil of Maya
A puzzle to be solved
The silence of a monk
Sacred is the vow
An image of the world
Transformed by the hands of an artist
The studio is his sanctuary
Holy acts of creation
Lifting the souls of man
Silence filling space
A counterweight to hatred and destruction
This hall of mirrors, society’s construction
A deep blue shadow
Wrapping around a face
A piece of the the soul
Captured like amber in oil
An open canvas
Expressing change
Like clarity in water
Filtered by action
Organic matter
Transferred into words
Enigmatic presence
Never waking from God’s dream
